I've just added this personal memory of my own. It is the story of how my best friend and I got tickets for a Beatles concert in the Princess Theatre, Torquay, just a couple of hours before they performed in August, 1963, and what I remember of their performance.

Situated on the south-west peninsula of England in the county of Devon, Torquay is the region's premier seaside resort, known for its mild climate. Although it was just a village right into the mid 19th century, it has had its moments of history including a small involvement with the Spanish Armada and Sir Francis Drake.
Nowadays it attracts visitors from all over Europe and even further afield with its many attractions including a Cavern that housed Stone Age man.
