Added new pics of a komodo dragon (they aren't easy to get pictures of)... and have added it to my lens on the critters. It's been a while since I added new stuff to this lens (the last time was back a year or so ago, when I travelled to the Philippines and encountered some "bayawak" (Philippine monitors) there).  So... enjoy the new pics.

Yup... it had to be done. Some of the pictures were getting old and fusty... so I did some digging and found some more pics (and better ones) of these critters I used to work with.

Komodo Dragons in the News Again... - Sun, 24 May 2009
Seems like the critters are getting more ornery there in Indonesia (their prime "stompin' grounds")--the lizards are no longer usually docile.. but are actually seeming to be "planning attacks" (does this sound like part of the script from "Jurassic Park"?) Anyway, I saw the blurb on Comcast news and decided to add the links to my Squidoo lens. Although some folks spell Komodo Dragon like it's "Kimono Dragon"... I assure you, there are no kimono-wearing lizards there. Thanks for being a fan!

The recent news about the SCUBA divers being stranded on an island inhabited by Komodo Dragons had my Big Lizard Critter lens shooting to the top for a while....it was cool to see myself in the top 100 (there only 5 days, but it was nice!). Thanks for being a fan! Drop by and visit my lenses once in a while to check out the new stuff! (I'm addicted to Squidoo... --like perhaps the rest of us, yes?--so I spend a few hours each night playing with updating, tweaking, and fixing my lenses.)
